Studio 1234 Presents:
Landscape Paintings by Various Artists
June 21 – July 4 Reception: Saturday,
June 21 at 3 pm – 5
pm
The beauty of nature has always been a source of inspiration for
artists. Art lover’s only need to look at Claude Monet’s
images of gardens and fields and the works of George Inness, Durand
and
O'Keefe to realize that each had their own interpretations and
visions of landscapes and nature. The Group of 7 became famous
for their contribution to the art world with their unique and
awe inspiring artwork. Styles and techniques have
been studied and taught from one generation to another among masters
like Durand, Cole, and Innesswith each succeeding to further their
artistic development by honing skills
built upon
their predecessor. Other artists develop a totally revolutionary
style of expression all on their own. No matter how the technique
was acheived landscape and nature continues to inspire the creative
soul.
To
continue
this
tradition, Studio 1234 is presenting an exhibition of artist’s
works inspired by the beauty of nature and landscapes. It is our
aim to share the beautiful works of art by a collection of current
Canadian artists and their retrospective impression of nature
and landscapes. We sincerely hope the public can attend to enjoy
this exhibit.
